Microchipping

Give Yourself Peace of Mind

Because our pets can’t tell us where they are, and collars or tags can easily fall off or get lost, we highly recommend microchipping as a reliable way to help reunite you with your pet if they ever go missing. A microchip is a tiny device, about the size of a grain of rice, that is safely inserted just beneath the skin between your pet’s shoulder blades. The procedure is quick and feels similar to a routine vaccination. Once implanted, the microchip remains in place for life, and your pet won’t feel or notice it at all.

In the unfortunate event that your pet gets lost, most veterinary clinics and animal shelters are equipped with special scanners to check for microchips in found animals. If your pet has a microchip, the scanner will read a unique identification number that links to your contact information in a national pet recovery database. This makes it much easier for shelters or veterinarians to contact you and reunite you with your pet quickly.

Microchipping is a simple, effective, and permanent way to protect your pet, offering peace of mind that if they do wander off or get lost, there’s a much better chance they’ll be returned safely to you. We believe every pet should have this added layer of security, ensuring they’re always just a scan away from coming back home.
